The Five Star Breakdown
It is pretty common when rating almost anything, for people to use the five star system. The system, however, differs between each person. I try to give my honest opinion, but I rarely give books a 1. Some people are super critical and others aren't at all. This is just a breakdown of how my rating system works and what I think of for each star.
✰ ~ It was horrible, and I probably didn't finish it.
✰ ✰ ~ Wasn't the worst thing I have ever read, but I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE.
✰ ✰ ✰ ~ The book was overall good. It had some issues, but I would recommend reading it.
✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ~ This book was great! I was emotionally attached to the book in some way or another.
✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰~ Don't even read the review! It's so good you need to buy a copy ASAP.
Not all of my reviews will be super detailed. I will try my best to hit the major topics of SETTING, PLOT, CHARACTERS, EMOTIONS or things I felt while reading. Along with giving my honest opinion on if I would recommend the book. I choose to read all of these books on my own and will tell you how they made me feel and the impact they had on my life. Other posts may be less detailed, however, and just give you a quick sneak peak into my thoughts on the book.
